Abstract
In July 2018, Mobemba Jérémie asked Balouki Justin, Melamassia Raphael and one known as Trésor to accompnay him in the forest around Liouesso for a small hunting expedition. While there, the latter discovered with surprise that Mobemba was prepared for a big hunting expedition when he removed a war weapon (type PMK) from his bag. They felt obliged to join him since they were already in the forest, and the hunting expedition led to the killing of two elephants.

Mobemba Jérémie, Balouki Justin, Melamassia Raphael were sentenced to two years imprisonment and XAF 100,000 (one hundred thousand) as fines each; All accused were condemned to pay XAF 500,000 (five hundred thousand) as damages jointly and to pay court fees; The seized ivory tusks were given back to State property services; The Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to its minimum.
