Abstract

From August to October 2014, the defendant Maojin C. discovered that the hazel grouse harmed the ginseng he planted. In his own ginseng area in Qingyuan County, he used the corn kernels soaked in poison poisoned 7 hazel grouses, which were under state-level key protection. Maojin C. confessed to have illegally hunted and killed endangered wildlife.
