Abstract

At the beginning of May 2017, the defendant Yongwen Y. dug a pit in the ground and hunted 2 pheasants and feed them in the house. Yongwen Y. and his wife Rongmei Y. (not prosecuting) sold the two pheasants to Zhonghui Z. for 200 yuan. On May 18, 2017, Yongwen Y. set up a trap behind the Mou family in the sixth group of Dadong Village, Dashan Town, Panzhou City, Guizhou Province. On May 19, 2017, three pheasants were hunted and sold for RMB 400 to the defendant Xiaoman L. Yongwen Y. confessed to have illegally hunted endangered wildlife, and Xiaoman L. confessed to have illegally purchased endangered wildlife.
