Abstract
From May to July 2018, Jingchao W. illegally purchased wild heron birds at a price ranging from 30 yuan to 50 yuan from Sun (sentenced) and others, and the birds were used to process into dishes for himself and his friends. Jingchao W. paid 4,477 yuan for the purchase of wild birds (dead bodies) to Sun through Wechat transfer. Jingchao W. surrendered himself to Forest Branch of Pucheng County Public Security Bureau on August 29, 2018, and truthfully confessed the facts of above crime. The bureau seized 5,820 yuan of illicit money that Jingchao W. withdrew. Jingchao W. confessed to having covered up or concealed crime-related income.
