On the 23 August 2007, the accused YOUMBISSI Michael was arrested flagrante delicto at Express Union, Bandjoun in possession of a bag containing 01 leopard skin.
As per judgement in default no. 065/COR of 27th December 1988 of the Court of First Instance Djoum, the accused OHANDJA LEBONGO was found guilty of poaching. He was sentenced to pay 500.000 XAF for fines and costs. He rightly contested the judgement in default which was admitted by the Court.
Following a preliminary investigation by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused OHANDJA LEBONGO was summoned to respond to charges of poaching protected animal species.

On the August 29 2017 the accused OBA'A ABOUTOU Celestin was arrested in Ebolowa by elements of the conservation service. He was arrested in possession of class A and B protected animal species, notably a baby chimpanzee and a bag weighing 5kg of pangolin scales.
On the 06 August 1989, the accused TSANGUE Francois was arrested flagrante delicto in the locality of Oveng. He was found in possession of unmarked trophies of protected animal species without a certificate of origin. At the end of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney together with the seized items for prosecution.
