In September 2015, MBARGA Robert Set traps in the forest that caught one Leopard. He ate the flesh and removed the skin and the skull to sell. He was arrested by the police. Upon arrest, he didn’t have a National Identity Card. After interrogations, he and the seized items, were all transmitted to the State Attorney for prosecution

Elements of the conservation service arrested the accused EYELEKO NGUNI Cédrick for hunting without permit, unauthorized killing and capture of protected animal species, illegal killing of protected animal species and detention and circulation of their trophies. The accused pleaded guilty and acknowledged criminal responsibility.

Elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park arrested the accused HOMBA Ruben for illegal hunting in a protected area and illegal capture and detention of protected animal species. After drafting his offence report, he was forwarded before the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance Kribi for prosecution.

On the 6 June 2016, elements of the conservation service arrested the accused persons aboard a boat in Campo. They were found in possession of 42 Ivory pieces and upon reconstitution by the elements gave 21 elephant ivories. They all pleaded guilty as charged and acknowledged criminal responsibility.

On the 10 July 2013, the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve effected a targeted anti-poaching patrol during which one the accused persons, Guiatin Didier was arrested leaving the Mengame Wildlife reserve. He admitted hunting in the said protected area in collaboration with Mengatta Franck and Foumane Simplice.

On the night of the 5 breaking 6 April 2012, the accused persons were arrested in the Forest Management Unit N° 09-025, a protected area by elements of the conservation service. They were found in possession of trophies of protected animal species, including 4 Blue Duikers, 1 Bay duiker, 2 pangolins, 01 hunting gun and 13 ammunitions.

On the 11 July 2014, elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park arrested the accused in the said park in possession of a hunting gun, 10 Blue Duikers, 06 De Brazza’s Monkeys, and 02 Bay Duikers. He accepted criminal responsibility and pleaded guilty.

Elements of the conservation service of the Campo Ma’an National park arrested the accused MENDOMO Henri Patrice in the said park for illegal hunting permit, illegal capture and detention of protected animal species, illegal killing, capture, circulation, and detention of totally protected animal species.

On the 13 May 2012 elements of the conservation service of Campo’o Ma’an National park organized a control mission in the village of Niété 5. Upon arriving the Forest Management Unit, the accused persons took to their heels abandoning 17 ammunitions, a gas pipe, a torch light, 15 Blue Duikers, 02 Bay Duikers, and 8 Gambia Rats.

In April 2014, the conservation service of Minkebe reserve in the Republic of Gabon arrested three suspects named, EMANE Arnaud, DAWAYE Dieudonné and AKONO Fabrice for elephant poaching in that Park.
