Abstract

On September 1st 2016, the accused Kakam Félix organized large scale hunting for elephant poaching. To accomplish this objective, he organized a team constituting the other accused persons with each having specific role to carry out. They killed two elephants and collected 4 Ivory tusks weighing 19kg. Upon returning, they were intercepted by Ecogardes of the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve in Mintom, South region. They all accepted their respective criminal responsibilities in committing the offences as charged.
