Sometimes on 13th April, 2007 at Kashaulili area within Mpanda District in Rukwa Region, the accused person was found in unlawful possession of 10 kg of hippopotamus meat valued 840,000/=, a horn of greater kudu valued Tshs. 1,600,000/= and one feather of porcupine valued tsh. 150,000/= the property of United Republic of Tanzania.

On the 21st August 2017, MINTCHA OKONO Benoit was arrested by elements of the conservation service of the Campo Ma'an National Park. He was found in possession of seven rats, a bay duiker and porcupine meat and did not have his national identity card at the time of the arrest. He admitted killing these animals during a hunting party.

The accused persons all acting in concertation, entered the Campo Ma’an national park in Oveng for a hunting party. There, they were arrested by forestry and wildlife agents in possession of carcasses of protected animal species, including two black Bay duikers, a blue Bay duiker, a porcupine and a mustac.

The Accused was arrested at Uribo village in Bulisa District. The Accused was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Kampala at Buganda Road.

The Accused was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was found in a wildlife protected area without permission and was in possession of wildlife protected species and devices capable of killing, injuring and capturing wildlife protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Amuru.
