The accused on 17 November 2014 at Lubilo Village in Mufindi District and Region of Iringa was allegedly found in possession of six pieces of skin of Abbott’s duiker. He charged with unlawful possession of government trophies. The accused was found not guilty and therefore acquitted.
On 12.05.2001 at Mirerani village within Simanjiro District in Manyara Region the accused person was found in unlawful possession of government trophy to wit, antelope meat property of the government of Tanzania. The accused person was found not guilty and was therefore acquitted.

The Accused was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Kampala at Buganda Road.
