On the 16 April 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Boumba Bek National Park arrested the accused in the hunting zone of Libongo, of the Boumba Bek National Park in possession of freshly butchered totally protected animal species. This includes Chimpanzees, Gorillas and a deer.
On the 19 June 2013, elements of the Nki national park were carrying out an anti-poaching patrol in the locality of Alati. During this patrol, the elements received reliable information about some poaching activity in the village of Mengom around Ntam.
On the 3rd September 2015, the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve arrested the accused persons, Bekono Aline & Ella Belinga Chancelin during an anti-poaching patrol. They were arrested on their motorbike carrying freshly killed 1 yellow bay duiker, 2 mandrills and a smoked Agile Mangabey.
On the 16 April 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Boumba Bek National Park arrested the accused, NKOMBO MPEKA Gerard in the hunting zone of Libongo, of the Boumba Bek National park, a protected area in possession of parts of totally protected animal species, notably Gorilla, Chimpanzee and Deer.
On the 29 April 2016, the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve carried out an anti-poaching patrol in the Forest Management Unit of Mpacko (UFA Mpacko). In this regard, they arrested the accused persons, Mvomo Meka and Essiane Pamphille with parts of Chimpanzee, Monkeys, Bay Duikers, Pangolins and other protected animal species.
On the 13 May 2012 elements of the conservation service of Campo’o Ma’an National park organized a control mission in the village of Niété 5. Upon arriving the Forest Management Unit, the accused persons took to their heels abandoning 17 ammunitions, a gas pipe, a torch light, 15 Blue Duikers, 02 Bay Duikers, and 8 Gambia Rats.
On the night of the 5 breaking 6 April 2012, the accused persons were arrested in the Forest Management Unit N° 09-025, a protected area by elements of the conservation service. They were found in possession of trophies of protected animal species, including 4 Blue Duikers, 1 Bay duiker, 2 pangolins, 01 hunting gun and 13 ammunitions.
On the 11 July 2014, elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park arrested the accused in the said park in possession of a hunting gun, 10 Blue Duikers, 06 De Brazza’s Monkeys, and 02 Bay Duikers. He accepted criminal responsibility and pleaded guilty.
On the 31st August 2009, MANGA Clotaire was arrested in “Adjap” a village situated on the Djoum-Mintom road by the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service agents. He was was arrested in possession of five (5) Grey-cheeked Mangabey, two (2) smoked parts of Bay Duiker. They were placed on his bike.
