On the 12 April 2009, during a control mission in Awa’ane-Messam (Mbouma) locality, a team of the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service, caught NYIMI AKONO Pierre red-handed in possession of one smoked African Dwarf crocodile, one leg of smoked Sitatunga, a half of a Bay Duiker and two rolls of steel cable.
The accused KONGLO ETOA Daniel was arrested in the central town of Djoum driving a TOYOTA pick-up vehicle with matriculation No: CE 4176 E by agents of the conservation service in Djoum accompanied by elements of the national gendarmerie brigade of the locality. On board this vehicle was ABOLO NGONG Joseph Tristan.
