Since 2009, after obtaining a wildlife management license from the Forestry Bureau of Yichang, Chen had been operating wild animals in Luofo Village, Taipingxi Town, Yiling District, Yichang City.
From October 2010 to December 2011, the defendant Gensheng W. illegally hunted and killed nine wild animals by using wire ropes and other tools in the area of Huoshaoliang (place name) in Yenigou, Quwa Township, Zhouqu County. It was also found that between October 2010 and December 2011, Gensheng W. hunted down three blue sheep.
Since 2015, Shuwen Z. had used his illegally held guns and other tools to illegally hunt 5 pheasants, 3 impalas, 1 iguana and tufted deer in Baoxing County. On March 27, 2017, Shuwen Z. and Hai Z.
