On the 17 and 19 June 2016, the accused persons BENGONO Magelan, NDIBI Arsene Rossy and EYAMO EKOUMA Didier were arrested flagrante delicto respectively in the locality of MANG YEMISSEM, MEBE MENKO’O and BIKOU’OU by elements of the MVILA divisional delegation of water and forest.
The accused, NJOYA AHMADU was summoned by the State Attorney to appear before the court to respond to charges of illegal detention and circulation of trophies of totally protected animal species.
In 2019, in the village of DJAMPONO, the eco-gardes caught ELOUA Brel, for having killed a Mandrill, a fully protected species.
