Victor Bernal and Eduardo Berges were convicted of various crimes in connection with an attempt to export two endangered primates--an orangutan and a gorilla--from the United States to Mexico in violation of the Lacey Act Amendments of 1981 and the Endangered Species Act of 1973.
On June 13, 2013 at around 12:00PM, Bikouaki Vincent went to visit his traps and noticed that one gorilla was caught in the trap. He decided to kill the animal with a machete and transported to his house. Unfortunately for him, he came across rangers around Liouesso avenue who caught him and seized the animal.
On August 28, 2015 at around 3:00pm, Soukapane Arthur Max and Bazock Ulrich were arrested by rangers in possession of pieces of gorilla meat. On August 27, both were in their camp when they heard a gorilla screaming.
On January 21, 2014 Moungoumba Gape accompanied by his younger brother went to the forest for hunting. While there he killed many animal species including a baby gorilla, a totally protected specie. Moungoumba Gape was caught on the same in the forest camp.
Ndelameya Moïse Christ pretended to present a school exam and did not have money to put together the application file. He then decided to visit his brother-in-law at Li-Ouesso village to carry out fishing. One week after his arrival to the village, he met with one known as Majelain who proposed to carry out trap hunting in the forest.
In July 2016, Badidi Rock accompanied by his brother-in-law Zamba Lévi went to the forest for hunting. The hunting expedition was not fruitful and they both decided to come back with bushmeat at any cost. So when they came across a group of gorillas they did not hesitate to kill one and skin the animal.
Biel Rivelent and Oniangue Léon were arrested by rangers for hunting with a war weapon in December 2018. They were brought before the state prosecutor and sent to court for trial.
Since October 2012, Xiao Wenwu has deposited the owl he acquired in an unlicensed bungalow in the Yanghe Village Farm, Guangzhou, which he leased from Gao, and hired Gao ’s worker Liao Congyun Help him feed and feed the owl part-time, and hire the same person Huang Jie to help him deliver the owl.
