During the year 2018, Kpamane Joseph and Atem Kevin went for a small hunting expedition at Adjala village during which they killed one blue duiker and one chimpanzee. They waited for the sunset to smoke and share the meat. Back to the village, Kpamane Joseph gave part of the meat to Atem Kevin to give it to his elder brother living in Sembe.
On the 4 December 2016, the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park and the gendarmerie of Moloundou organized an anti-poaching patrol. During the patrol, the accused, persons NGUOINGUE Marcel and OUME Jean were arrested, with a hunting gun and ammunitions, 04 smoked Blue duikers, 6 bush pig legs and 4 fully smoked Mantled Guerezas.
In February 2014, elements of the conservation service of the National Park of Lobeke received reliable information about the presence of some poachers in the said park. Following this, on the 19 February, the elements organized a surveillance and control patrol in the peripheral area of the park (ZIC 31).
In 2012, the accused MOHAMADOU BELO was arrested flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service with smoked four yellow duiker legs, 4 bush pig legs, 13 smoked black duiker legs, 12 smoked Monkeys, 40 smoked Blue Duikers, 12 Brush-tailed porcupine, and 01 smoked African Palm Civet.
On the 6 April 2016, elements of the Nki National park carried out a sweep operation in the sectors of Ngoyla, and Eta-Frontière-Djadom-Ntam Carrefour. During this sweep operation, the accused Essogo Daniel and Sabel Yannick were found in possession of freshly killed 6 blue duikers, 2 Sitatungas, 1 Agile Mangabey, and 1 hunting gun.
On the 3 July 2016, elements of the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Ngatto carried a wildlife control mission. The accused was intercepted and they proceeded to search his bags. They discovered 6 pieces of smoked Gorilla meat, 2 Peter Duikers side meat, 01 smoked Blue Duiker, and 19 feathers of African Grey Parrots.
On the 13 May 2012 elements of the conservation service of Campo’o Ma’an National park organized a control mission in the village of Niété 5. Upon arriving the Forest Management Unit, the accused persons took to their heels abandoning 17 ammunitions, a gas pipe, a torch light, 15 Blue Duikers, 02 Bay Duikers, and 8 Gambia Rats.
On the 4 August 2013, the conservator of Korup National Park received reliable information about an elephant being killed in the village of Ikenge. The conservator mobilized a team together with the military to carry out a field investigation to this effect. On their way to the village, the team kept an open eye for any evidence.
On the night of the 5 breaking 6 April 2012, the accused persons were arrested in the Forest Management Unit N° 09-025, a protected area by elements of the conservation service. They were found in possession of trophies of protected animal species, including 4 Blue Duikers, 1 Bay duiker, 2 pangolins, 01 hunting gun and 13 ammunitions.
