In violation of the state regulations on the protection of rare and endangered wild animals, defendants Aimin Z., Nan L., Jie W., Dongdong H., Dalin H., Zhi W., Jiangtao G., Xiyuan L., Gao W., Zhengwen L., Yu D., Jing T., Xueyi W., Tengyan Xu., and Shuo Ch.
In early May 2013, a Chinese named Valoja (at large) in Russian contacted Baisong J. and asked him to help smuggle bear paws from Russia to China. Baisong J. then contacted Guangjun L. and asked him to contact the person who could smuggle bear paws to China. Guangjun L. contacted Александр and СерреЙ and talked to them about smuggling matters.
