In violation of the state regulations on the protection of rare and endangered wild animals, defendants Aimin Z., Nan L., Jie W., Dongdong H., Dalin H., Zhi W., Jiangtao G., Xiyuan L., Gao W., Zhengwen L., Yu D., Jing T., Xueyi W., Tengyan Xu., and Shuo Ch.
In the lunar month of 2016, the defendant Wanqin Z. used his gun to hunt one long-tailed pheasant and one bamboo pheasant in his own vegetable garden and bamboo forest. After peeling, he put them in the freezer. In May 2017, he sold the long-tailed pheasant skin to Jihua Z. for 40 yuan.
