Goupa Nadege was in possession of one war weapon (type PMK) that she conveyed to Ouesso and gave to her brother Christophe who handed it to Selembe Remy for hunting. For the purpose of the hunting, Selembe contacted Obendza Donald, one ranger who provided him several materials including thirty ammunitions.
In November 2017, Sipiane Abel resident in Sembe organized one big hunting expedition. With the held of Adama Fridrich they entered in the forest with one war weapon (type PMK) and ammunition. After having killed one elephant, they extracted the ivory and brought it back to the village and sold it at XAF 400,000 to Sangou Zoumki.
In April 2019 at Souanke, one known as Akandzel commisioned Joel a hunter and Sobo Celestin, Maturin, Eric to kill elephants on his behalf. He gave to Joel one war weapon (type PMK) and three loaders. The poaching team went to the forest Messock-Dja and after few days they killed four elephants.
In July 2017, rangers heard gunshots inside the Nouabale-Ndoki national park and decided to go on patrol. They finally arrested Tobesse Adrien after ten days of patrol in possession of ivory tusks and brought him to the state prosecutor.
In January 2017, Pinga Hervé and Ndinga Christophe joined two known as Chadrack and Gildas on the other side of the river for a hunting expedition. Once in the forest, Gildas took a war weapon (type PMK) that was hidden in the forest and gave the course of action to others.
On December 05, 2017, the Imam of Pokola Abdouraman Youssouf contacted Assafi Doutoum to transport ivory tusks to Ngombe for sale. Assafi Doutoum accepted and both went to Mboua-Mboua on the Imam’s bike with the objective to find how to transport the ivory to Ngombe.
During November and December 2015, Ali Shadick went to Lègue for fishing with other persons. After a fruitful fishing, they decided to smoke the fish and Ali Shadick went to the forest to get some wood. It’s there that he found ivory tusks and took it with him for sale.
In June 2017, Bandoumou Christ Waddle together with his uncle Nguesse Simeon, Franck Ebeke and Durel decided to carry out elephant hunting during which they killed with a war weapon three elephants with the tusks weighing respectively 7.5 kgs, 6 kgs and 2 kgs.
The accused Ndoum Willy acquired an AK47 war gun and ammunitions from a certain Mboko Alfred with the intention of poaching elephants. In order to do this, he requested help from the co-offender Namoudou Jean Pierre with whom they killed an Elephant in the reserve of Faro-Lobeke and proceeded to sell the ivories.
On the 19 September 2013, the accused NFORMI Alfred FAI was arrested in Edea by elements of the conservation service of the Divisional Delegation of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife. He was found in possession of two elephant jawbones. During interrogations, he denied committing the offence and pleaded not guilty.
