Abstract
On the 30 May 2017, elements of the conservation service organized a sweep anti-poaching operation in the locality of T9 in Libongo. During this operation, the accused BOUKAR ALHADJI OUMAR was arrested flagrante delicto in possession of 12 Ivory tusks. During interrogation, he acknowledged committing the offence and accepted ownership of the said ivories. After his offence report was established, he was forwarded together with the seized items as exhibits before the state attorney of the court of First Instance Yokadouma for prosecution.
