Abstract

In February 2017, Medoulou Hermann and Oyono Jean Louis were planning to organize a big hunting expedition. They went to find one hunter known as Sandoukou on the Cameroon side. They went together with Sandoukou to the forest on the Gabon side where the latter killed at least two elephants and went back to take his wife before coming back. In the meantime Medoulou Hermann and Oyono Jean Louis stayed behind with the ivory tusks in the forest camp on the Congolese when they were caught red handed by a ranger patrol of Sembe. They were arrested and brought before the state prosecutor.
