Abstract
On the 03 February 2011, the accused NJAFA NJAMEN Gislain was arrested in Bangangte by elements of the Regional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife. He was arrested in possession of a live chimpanzee without a certificate of origin. During interrogations, he pleaded not guilty and explained that he bought the chimpanzee for 4000 XAF from an unidentified hunter and was about to resell it when he was arrested. At the end of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
