Abstract
The Appellant was found in a vehicle in possession of ivory without a valid wildlife use right. He was convicted of the same and it was also ordered that he be deported from Uganda. He was sentence to 2 years and 15 days having considered the time he spent on remand which was 11 months and 15 days. Court of Appeal observed that the sentence of imprisonment had been served in full and went ahead to set aside the orders of deportation.
