The accused person on 20 March 2015 at Chanumba Village in Chamwino District in Dodoma Region, was found in possession of crocodile skin, pangolin skin, lion nail and two dik-dik teeth. The accused was found guilty.

It was alleged that the accused person on 6 December 2013 at Ipululu Area near Muhesi Game Reserve within Mnayoni District in Singida Region, did enter a game reserve with a muzzle loader without permit. The accused was found not guilty.

The accused persons on 10 March 2015 at Handali Village in Cahmwino District in Dodoma Region, the accused was found in possession of fox skin. The accused was found guilty.

It is alleged that the accused person on 13 October 2014 in Muhesi Game Reserve , Manyoni District, Singida Region entered the said game reserve without authority with a one unregistered muzzle loader, bullets, gunpowder and an axe. It is also alleged that the accused was found in an unlawful possession of a giraffe tail.

The accused was arraigned before Mpanda District Court for unlawful possession of government trophy. The accused was found guilty.

It is alleged that the accused persons on 15 January 2013 at Kizogo Game reserve within Manyoni District in Singida Region did enter a game reserve using thirteen motorcycles and two bicycles without permit and did mine and collect sand without permit. The accused persons were found not guilty.

It was alleged that on 31/01/2013 at Manyara Ranch area in Monduli District, Arusha region, the accused persons were found in unlawful possession of government trophy, to wit, zebra meat. The accused persons were acquitted.

It was alleged that the accused persons on 15/2/2009 at Leken area, Selela village, Monduli District in Arusha region were found in unlawful possession of fresh wildebeest meat. The accused denied the charges. The accused persons were found guilty and were therefore convicted.

It was alleged that the accused person was found in possession of government trophy, contrary to the laws of the Republic. The case was withdrawn by the prosecution.

This is a criminal case in which a tremendous effort to smuggle psittacine (parrot) birds into the United States from the Republic of Mexico was exposed. There is a quarantine against the importation of such species into the United States. The indictment was in ten counts. Three separate conspiracies were charged (Counts 1, 4, and 7).
