It was alleged that the accused person on 10 March 2015 Chanumba Village within Chamwino District was found in possession of honey badger skin, pangolin skin, cobra skin, python skin, hyena tail, “mangore” skin. The accused was found guilty.

On 13th December, 2012 at Kishisha Village, Siha District at Kilimanjaro region, the accused was arrested by the Kinapa Park rangers on allegations of possessing government trophy which was hyrax. This was contrary to the Wildlife Conservation Act, No. 05 of 2009. He was charged for the first time at Hai District Court on 24th January, 2013.

On 28th day of February 2002, the accused persons were arrested at Ilakala area Mikumi National Park within Kilosa District in Morogoro and were found in possession of government trophies to wit were 96 kilograms of hippopotamus meat valued at Tshs. 1,815,000 the property of the United Republic of Tanzania without permit or license.

On 12th November, 2012 the accused Saidi Salehe Makwawa and Mashaka Saidi were arrested at Kigenge Mbuyuni village, Kilosa District Morogoro region and were accused of unlawfully entering and hunting in a National Park having been found in possession of the government trophy which was impala meat. They were charged with four counts.

The appellant pleaded guilty to being knowingly concerned in fraudulently evading the prohibition on the importation of a prohibited species of endangered falcon. He was stopped while entering the country with his car, which was found to contain four young birds of prey, Gyr falcons, worth between GBP 10,000 - 15,000 each.

The accused persons on the 7th day of september, 2014 were arrested at Belabela Hill within SENAPA by park rangers who were on patrol at that area. The park rangers saw foot prints of human being leading into the bush; they surrounded the bush and managed to arrest the accused persons.
