The two accused were arrested and charged of illegal entry into a wildlife conservation area and Unlawful Possession of devices capable of causing injury to wildlife species contrary to sections 22 (1), 74 (a) and section 77 & 74 (a) UWA Cap 200 respectively.

The Accused was arrested in Karuma falls and was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.

The Accused on 28/06/2020 was arrested at Anaka Town Council and was found with wildlife protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.

The Accused were found in a protected area without an entry permit contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused were charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.

The two accused were arrested and charged of illegal entry into a wildlife conservation area, and Unlawful Possession of devices capable of causing injury to wildlife species contrary to section 77 and 74 (a) UWA Cap 200. They both pleaded guilty and prosecution was tasked to prove the case against the accused beyond reasonable doubt.

On the 1st day of August 2021 rangers of Queen Elizabeth Conservation area attached to Katoru police post while on their patrol in the area of Katoru within Queen Elizabeth arrested the accused who entered the park illegally and they had two pangas and brought to Kasese police station and later appeared in court.
