On the 3rd day of October 2020 the park rangers received information that some people had wildlife species in their homes. A search was conducted and meat was recovered. Some cooked, some not. They were arrested and charged accordingly.
On the 1st day of March 2020, the accused was found in queen Elizabeth National Park with another person cutting palm trees. He was found with the palm trees and charged.
On the 28th day of April 2021 at 2200 hrs, at Kazinga channel in the area called Nyakatanda within the conservation area. The three accused persons were found to have illegally entered the said area. They were arrested and taken to Kasese CPS and charged accordingly.
On the 23rd day of August 2021 at Kanumba within Queen Elizabeth Conservation Area the accused were found by UWA having illegally entered and cultivated yam, cassava and opium. They were also found in possession of 6 wire snares and 5 pangas.
The accused person were arrested with seven hippopotamus teeth amounting to 12kgs. They were taken to Kasese CPS and charged.
That on the 21st day of June 2019 while on patrol, the rangers met the accused person inside Queen Elizabeth National Park along the boundary laying wire snares in Muhokya. That he was about 50m from the pole demarcating the boundary. He was arrested and charged with the two counts.
Accused persons was charged for illegal entry into a wildlife protected area and convicted on his own plea of guilty.

Accused was charged and arraigned in court. He pleaded not guilty but prosecution did not produce witnesses to prove its case. Case dismissed for want of prosecution.
The Accused were found in a protected area without an entry permit and were found to be in possession of devices capable of killing, injuring and capturing wildlife protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused were charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.
