Libende Mbelo Désiré and Elango Romain, two individuals from DRC living at Pokola, established a camp at Ngombe forest where they used to set traps. In December 2004, Libende Mbelo Désiré and Elango Romain were caught by water and forest officers at a period during which hunting was prohibited in Congo.

Libiesse Leon is a Congolese individual living in Pokola. On February 23, 2012 he entered the forest with a calibre 12 rifle to do small hunting. While there he killed one chimpanzee on February 25. Back in Pokola, he hid the meat inside a bag in his house.

Kouadjo Benjamin bought a war weapon with the intention of killing any animal that crossed his path. On June 28, 2020 he was caught by rangers at Endjoubou forest.

In 2018, Kouabouanga Roger, cultivating a 4 hectare field, was informed about the establishment of the Ntokou-Pikounda National Park in the said area and a one month's notice was set to leave the premises and for the harvest.

In July 2017, Kegnolot Willy and Sonzodi Pea Adamoritch illegaly entered a protected area in order to fish.

Kangazokou Ulrich was arrested in possession of 51 kg of ivory tusks when he was travelling on the road between Mobongue and Moyoye coming from Liouesso. He obtained some of the tusks from a Cameroonian and a Congolese (DRC), and others in Ibonga from another Congolese (DRC).

In September 2013, Maba, Nira and Kennedy shot an elephant in the Otona forest near the Congo-Gabon border in the Ogoué-Léketi Park reserve. After slaughter, the latter was assisted by Kenguimi Bernard and Missie Tuburce to transport parts of the animal to the point of sale.

In 2017, Ngomene Bertrand, a seller of traditional products (skins, bones, chair parts from rare species, bird feathers, reptile skins) was approached at the Djambala market by Kindzele Nazaire, who asked him to refer a customer to him.

On May 08, 2008, in their patrol and anti-poaching missions, the eco-guards on duty at the Nouabélé Ndoki Park surprised Lande Jean Willy while hunting in the park's periphery, this during a period when hunting was closed.

In January 2019, the anti-poaching surveillance in its traditional mission, apprehended Komoukuena Mathias and Moussembe Martin in possession of a pangolin.
