The Accused was found in a wildlife protected area without permission and was in possession of wildlife protected species and devices capable of killing, injuring and capturing wildlife protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Amuru.

Accused persons were arrested inside a wildlife conservation area in possession of four metal traps, 3 spears, several pieces of fresh Uganda Kob and fresh meat of warthog.

Accused person illegally entered a wildlife conservation area in Murchison Falls national park and upon arrest was found in possession of devices capable of killing or causing injury to wildlife species and warthog meat.

The accused was arrested and charged for unlawful possession of wildlife species. He pleaded guilty and was convicted on his own plea of guilty to UGX 1.200,000/= in default serve 14 months imprisonment
