The defendant Jianxing L., illegally purchased 5 pieces of ivory products from elephants which were threatened and endangered wild animals, and shipped them to Sanya and handed them to the defendant Shengqi C. for sale.
On December 12, 2013, the appellant Liang Jintang entered Shenzhen through the Luohu port and did not declare anything to the customs. Customs officers seized a total of 25 pieces of crocodile skin weighing 4.50 kg in Jintang L.'s luggage. Jintang L. confessed to having illegally smuggled endangered wildlife products.
