On July 7, 2014, the defendant Dong B. shot a sambar in the forest downstream of the Lancang River beside the base of Jinghong City. The next morning, the defendants Qiang L., Dong B., Hongping Z. and Zhaluo L. went to the place where the sambar was hunted to peel and divide the meat and then returned by boat.
At 13 o'clock on August 14, 2017, Pengmaocaidan and Nuhai M. took a white off-road vehicle driven by Baraoasuo passing the foot of Konglongge Mountain in Laxi Town, Baqing County, and found there were musk deer. Pengmaocaidan proposed the idea of using a steel wire sleeve to catch the musk deer, and Nuhai M. and Baraoasuo agreed.
