On 10th July 2014 at Marerani-Kilimahewa within Simanjiro District, Manyara region, the accused was found in unlawful possession of two impala meat valued at 780 USD equivalent to Tshs. 1,248,000/= and two dik-dik meat valued at 500 USD equivalent to Tshs. 800,000/= both being properties of Tanzania.

The accused and two others on and about 11st December 2011 at Mererani within Simanjiro District in Manyara region were found in possession of government trophies valued at Tshs. 9,024,000/= without a valid license from authorized authority.

On 25.09.2014 Manyara Park Rangers were patrolling at Kirurumo area Manyara National Park. While patrol, the rangers met the accused and suspected him to be carrying government trophy. When the accused was stopped and searched, they were found in unlawful possession of zebra meat. The accused was found guilty and was therefore convicted.

The accused Mwajuma was charged of an offence of been in unlawful possession of the Government Trophy which is contrary to section 86 (1) of the Wildlife Conservation Act No. 5 of 2009 read together with Paragraph 14 (d) of the First Schedule to the Economic and Organized Crime Control Act Cap 200 of R.E 2002.

Accused Juma Grayson, Geofrey Semkoko and Salim Kigoda were arrested and charged for being found in unlawful possession of Government trophies contrary to the provision of the law. They were all charged at the Pangani District Court for the same offence.

The accused were jointly found in possession of buffalo meat and fourteen (14) ammunitions without a permit. During their charges they both pleaded not guilty.

The prosecution alleged that on 23rd March, 2012 at Kambi ya Fisi within city and region of Arusha, the accused was found in possession of one cheetah skin. According to the prosecution, the accused was in police lock up facing charges of breaking with intent to steal.

The 1st accused person (a game reserve officer) and other two persons were arrested on 7th day of April, 2007 at Makuyuni within Monduli District in Arusha region with a government trophy to wit, one eland meat. The 1st accused claimed that on previously he had received complaints that animals are destroying crops.

On 03.01.2013 inside Manyara ranch at Monduli District, the accused was found in unlawful possession of Gerenuk the property of the United Republic of Tanzania. On the material day, park rangers who were in patrol saw torch light as well as heard a motor cycle honking.

The accused persons on or about 25th December, 2006 at around Makuyuni JKT area within Monduli District, Arusha region were found in unlawful possession of the giraffe meat loaded in a motor vehicle.
