On 4.3. 2010 Anti-Poaching Unit in Arusha was informed that the accused’s residence situated at Baraa in Arumeru District had some trophies that were unlawful kept.

On 4.3. 2010 Anti-Poaching Unit in Arusha was informed that the accused’s residence situated at Baraa in Arumeru District had some trophies that were unlawful kept.
On or about 12th February, 2010 at Ngorongoro Conservation area within Ngorongoro district in Arusha region, the accused persons were found in unlawful possession of government trophy to wit, one buffalo which was carried in a vehicle owned by the Government of Tanzania.
On 7th day of October, 2010 at Sakina area within the Municipality, District and Region of Arusha, the accused person was found in unlawful possession of government trophy to wit, zebra meat property of the government of Tanzania. The accused person was found not guilty and was therefore acquitted.
On 31st day of March 2009, the accused persons were found by the anti-poaching unit with unlawful possession of government trophy giraffe carcass loaded in the motor vehicle. The first accused was the driver of the vehicle while 2nd and 3rd accused persons are policemen. The accused persons were found not guilty and were therefore acquitted.
On 24.01.2014 at Landman village within Simanjoto District, Arusha region, the accused person was found with unlawful possession of dik-dik meat by Anti-Poaching Unit. The Unit while in the routine patrol suspected the accused to be in possession of wild meat, upon being followed the accused ran away.
On 12.05.2001 at Mirerani village within Simanjiro District in Manyara Region the accused person was found in unlawful possession of government trophy to wit, antelope meat property of the government of Tanzania. The accused person was found not guilty and was therefore acquitted.
On 2nd June 2001 in Serera Controlled area, Mto wa Mbu , Monduli District in Arusha region, the accused persons alleged killed three buffaloes using poisoned spears whilst not possessing a hunting permit from the Director of Wildlife. The accused persons denied to be in possession of the said buffalo meat.
The accused persons on 29th day of September 2006 at Namalulu within Engakiriti, Longido District were found by Anti-Poaching Unit in unlawfully possession of one zebra meat without valid permit from the Director of Wildlife. The Unit on the material day received a tip that the accused were illegally hunting.
On 06.10.2010, the accused was found in unlawful possession of one carcass head of hippopotamus within the Malale river inside Manyara National Park within Monduli District, Arusha region. The accused was found guilty and was therefore convicted.
On or about the 14th day of April, 2006 at Ogutu area within Simanjiro District Manyara Region, the accused persons were found in unlawful possession of zebra property of the Tanzania Government. The accused was found guilty and was therefore convicted.
