It was alleged by the prosecution that on 30/07/1996 in the village of Lutukila, within the District of Songea the appellant was found with unlawful possession of government trophies. They were later on prosecuted before the District Court of Songea. Prosecution procured about five (5) witnesses to testify the allegations.

It was alleged that on 21 December 2013 at Hangangadinda Village, Namtubo District in Ruvuma Region was found in possession of elephant meat. The charge was withdrawn under section 91(1) of the Criminal Procedure Act).

It was alleged that the accused person was found in possession of government trophy, contrary to the laws of the Republic. The case was withdrawn by the prosecution.

From the second half of 2012, Shen and defendant Guoshui W. began to communicate in the sale of ivory and ivory products. On December 12 and 21, 2012, Shen successively paid bank transfers totalling RMB 416,000 to Guoshui W. to purchase 17 pieces of ivory and ivory products. Guoshui W.

On July 25, 2018, Zebiao K. was arrested by public security personnel while carrying a brown hornbill in the corridor for sale. Subsequently, in the 703 room, the public security personnel seized a living brown hornbill and 14 dead bodies of other wild animals that Zebiao K. purchased from criminals and waited to be sold.
