Abstract
During October and November in Gamba, Diakite Oumar received a phone call from one known as Traore who wanted to purchase ivory. Diakite then contacted several hunters from whom he purchased 47.8kg of ivory. He then went to Libreville with the products to sell them. While he was about to conclude the transaction he was caught by elements of the anti-poaching unit. During his interrogation he declared to have purchased the ivory at Gamba at XAF 1,600,000 (one million six hundred thousand francs) from hunters in order to resell them to get more money.
