Abstract
In 2018, following information about the possession by an individual of a panther skin, the agents of the research branch of Ogoué Ivindo opened an investigation, which led to the arrest of MAYOMBO NDOUNA Georges Berry. The suspect declared that together with one named Eboulanzamba they discovered one panther caught in their traps in the forest. They killed, skinned and shared the animal with Ndouna taking the skin while Eboulanzamba took the meat.
