Following an information on a trade in ivory tusks about to take place at Oyem, water and forests agents together the judiciary police arrested on November 20, 2014, MBA OWONO Sylvain in his vehicle together with MEZUI ME NDONG Gérôme and one known ADAMA. Following the search of the vehicle, they discovered six ivory tusks, one leopard skin and three ammunitions. During the interrogation, MBA OWONO Sylvain admitted to be the owner of the products that he bought ten years from a hunter; and that he was he was instigated by MEZUI ME NDONG Gérôme and ADAMA to sell the products to an Asian lady. ADAMA on his turn declared that MEZUI informed him that he was looking for an ivory seller reason why he put the latter in contact with MBA OWONO his neighbour. They were arrested on their way to the appointment place with the buyer.
