Sometimes on 24th October, 2007 at Kaponda village within Mpanda District in Rukwa region the accused person was arraigned and found in unlawful possession of government trophies. A charge was brought before the court for accused person to answer. The accused was convicted.

On 4.3. 2010 Anti-Poaching Unit in Arusha was informed that the accused’s residence situated at Baraa in Arumeru District had some trophies that were unlawful kept.

On the 29 April 2016, the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve carried out an anti-poaching patrol in the Forest Management Unit of Mpacko (UFA Mpacko). In this regard, they arrested the accused persons, Mvomo Meka and Essiane Pamphille with parts of Chimpanzee, Monkeys, Bay Duikers, Pangolins and other protected animal species.

On the 22 July 2008 during a routine check, the chief of the Forestry and Wildlife Control Post of Mintom, apprehended two persons red-handed Mrs NSAH MEBA & AMVAME Brice Macaire).

On the 27 April 2009, during a routine control at a checkpoint on the Djoum-Mintom road, the Djoum Forestry and Wildlife Control Post agents arrested NNA MINTYA Alain & NSEE Leonard flagrante delicto. They were transporting, three (3) blue Duiker, Bay Duiker parts, two (2) Black-Casqued Wattled Hornbill and two (2) monkeys.

NLEME Jean was arrested in the Campo Ma'an National Park by elements of the conservation service of the said park in a cabin fitted out for hunting purposes. He was found in possession of a bay duiker and a monkey.

The accused ABOLO EKOMANE Martin Festin was summoned to appear before the Court to respond to charges of poaching protected animal species on the 27 January 1993 in Djoum. That he was arrested by forces of law and order in possession of three (03) gorilla thighs, three (03) monkey thighs and a hare without a certificate of origin.

In July 2017, the accused MINLA MEBALE Francis acquired a hunting gun from the family to carry out a hunting trip in order to solve certain financial problems. Using the ammunitions he had acquired, he killed two hares, two monkeys and two birds in a protected area. On his way back, he was apprehended by eco guards who were on patrol.

The accused MBO'O Ghislaine was caught by eco-guards of the South Antenna of the Dja Biosphere Reserve in possession of twelve (12) legs of bay duiker, a class B protected species, four (4) smoked monkeys whose appearance no longer allowed to determine the class, 05 'atherudes' including four (4)smoked, all class c protected, fou

On the 22 July 2008, elements of the forestry and wildlife control post of Mintom organized a control check. During this control, the accused persons NSAH MEBA & AMVAME Brice Macaire were arrested in possession of 12 pieces of gorilla meat, 4 dog legs, and 4 monkeys.
