The accused and two others on and about 11st December 2011 at Mererani within Simanjiro District in Manyara region were found in possession of government trophies valued at Tshs. 9,024,000/= without a valid license from authorized authority.

On 5/07/2013, the dwelling house of the accused was searched upon information given to the police, she was found in possession of 16 pieces of dry meat of the wildebeest and 8 pieces of dry meat of zebra. She was arrested and taken to Mugumu police station. The case was withdrawn under section 98(8) of the Criminal Procedure Act.

On 25.09.2014 Manyara Park Rangers were patrolling at Kirurumo area Manyara National Park. While patrol, the rangers met the accused and suspected him to be carrying government trophy. When the accused was stopped and searched, they were found in unlawful possession of zebra meat. The accused was found guilty and was therefore convicted.

The accused persons on the 7th day of september, 2014 were arrested at Belabela Hill within SENAPA by park rangers who were on patrol at that area. The park rangers saw foot prints of human being leading into the bush; they surrounded the bush and managed to arrest the accused persons.

On 28/09/2012, the three accused person were caught hunting at Rwamchanga area within Ikorongo Game reserve within Bunda District, they were further caught in possession of one knife, one bush knife and one full fresh carcass of a Zebra. They were arrested and taken to KDU.

On 11/10/2011, at around 6.00 P.M park rangers of SENAPA, while in patrol at Rwashange area within the national park. They saw some people in the bush, they surrounded them and managed to arrest them. These people were in possession one panga, three knives, three motorcycles and one killed zebra.

On 2/04/2014, the two accused persons were found along Mongombiti area within SENAPA. They entered the park without permission and were found in possession of one knife, one bush knife, and one full fresh carcass of zebra. However, the case was dismissed.

On 7th day of October, 2010 at Sakina area within the Municipality, District and Region of Arusha, the accused person was found in unlawful possession of government trophy to wit, zebra meat property of the government of Tanzania. The accused person was found not guilty and was therefore acquitted.

The accused persons on 29th day of September 2006 at Namalulu within Engakiriti, Longido District were found by Anti-Poaching Unit in unlawfully possession of one zebra meat without valid permit from the Director of Wildlife. The Unit on the material day received a tip that the accused were illegally hunting.

On or about the 14th day of April, 2006 at Ogutu area within Simanjiro District Manyara Region, the accused persons were found in unlawful possession of zebra property of the Tanzania Government. The accused was found guilty and was therefore convicted.
