In 2019, NGANDOU Jean Claude and BAZONKANDE Baurel illegally killed an elephant in the Mokeko and Ibonga Forest. They used a PMAK-type war weapon belonging to a certain COSSOVO, who also supplied them with ammunition. The hunt in 2019 was preceded by a first poaching expedition from which they returned empty-handed.
On 2019/06 /19 NGAMOTENI Dayane was preparing to go to Zoulabouth village. Before his departure, his friend Luc gave him war ammunition. When caught by the police, his friend Luc ran away and NGAMOTENI Dayane was arrested.
Since 1996 Mounzombe Jean Pierre was living in a camp near Molanda village. On June 24, 2015, a local person came to him to ask for war ammunition; he then contacted one young man named Jules to go and buy them from uniform officers. The ammunition were to serve for big hunting.
In November 2020, police services arrested Moth-Megone Genel, Ngando Jean and Tagnaningieu Blaise while they were circulating in Ouesso in order to meet somebody who will buy ivory tusks they were transporting.
On December 23, 2018, Ozembe Patrick Jutraque, together with his friends Eric and Werra, surreptitiously entered the Lefini reserve, not far from the village of Mpoh, armed with firearms.
During June 2015, Badolo, Abiayi and Mika all living in Pokola formed a team to go into the forest to practice big game hunting with a war weapon. On June 15, 2015 they all left Pokola to the forest. At Djaka village, they spent the night to continue the following day very early the morning.
During 2015, Bakakoye Malachie, Mboboma Olivier, Mazo Emmanuel took part in a big hunting expedition with a PMK gun and killed an elephant. Mboboma Olivier, Mazo Emmanuel removed the tusks. All three were arrested.
In July 2012, during an investigative mission, eco-guards arrested and apprehended the named KONDOLO Sabin who, after interrogation, confessed to having killed an elephant with two PMAK type war weapons at the ”Attention” village community development area.
In September 2017, Fankui Philemon, Bidou Felix Ulrich and one known as Ibrahim found themselves together at Ngbaka precisely at Bolozo where they were about to cross to river.
