On the 05 May 1989, the accused EDIMO Daniel was summoned before the Court of First Instance, Djoum by the State Attorney to respond to the charge of killing protected animal species in a zone prohibited from hunting.

Eco-guards in charge of the area of Moloundou notified brigade elements about the presence of a convict notorious for elephant poaching, in a Baka village. A team of eco-guards, elements of the gendarmerie, and some villagers of good faith was constituted.

In March 2018, the accused EKOANTAH Maurice was arrested in Mindourou flagrante delicto by a team of wildlife and illegal activities of the company R Pallisco on a control mission to UEFA 10047 B, an area within their sphere of operation. He was illegally exploiting non-forest timber products.

On the 12 September 2010, the accused persons ELA ALO'O Christian and ENBWANG MENYE Galax were arrested in BIYI-EFACK by agents of the conservation service of the divisional delegation of MINFOF in possession of seven (07) turtle shells including 03 marine and 04 forests in a store in the village of BIYI EFACK.

Mr OKALE Robert, head of the South antenna of the Dja biosphere reserve received reliable information from informal sources admitting that unidentified individuals were about to carry out an illegal transaction involving trophies of totally protected animals species at the Jeannette hostel located in the Etoile district in Djoum.

On the 1st October 2014, elements of the conservation service of the divisional delegation of Ntem, South Region received reliable information about the illicit trafficking of wildlife products in the town. Following this information and together with the gendarmerie, they proceeded to arrest the accused ELLA Minko Pierre at Hotel Sispens.

In July 2017, the accused MINLA MEBALE Francis acquired a hunting gun from the family to carry out a hunting trip in order to solve certain financial problems. Using the ammunitions he had acquired, he killed two hares, two monkeys and two birds in a protected area. On his way back, he was apprehended by eco guards who were on patrol.

On the 12 November 1998 during a routine control in OVENG led by the chief of the forestry and wildlife control post of Oveng, the accused NKOETYE ESSIANE , the truck driver, and a passenger were arrested. Upon searching their truck, they found elephant meat and two (02) ivories.

The accused NKOETYE ESSIANE, a pastor resident at OVENG challenged the court judgement no.135/COR of 12 June 2001 in which the Court of First Instance Djoum in its judgement by default found him guilty of killing a protected animal species and sentenced him to one year fixed term imprisonment, to pay 1,000,000 XAF for fines, 230,000 XAF for civi

The accused ELLE Okono Moise was summoned to respond to charges of poaching protected animal species. That in 1988 in the Djoum locality, the accused was arrested for illegal killing of protected animal species in an area prohibited from poaching without a permit.
