On May 30 2014, Ecogardes of the conservation service of Dja effected an anti-poaching patrol and found the accused, Obam Obam Marcelin in a forest located in NKOLADENFACK, South Region. He was cooking and after a systematic search was carried out, a hunting gun and ammunitions and some elephant meat were found.

On the 22 February 2017, the accused, Djembo Paul a well-known hunter approached Djibril Karimou and gave him 2 ivory tusks. Sameloe Dieudonné approached the two accused persons dressed as a ranger, and seized the tusks. He then proceeded to sell them to Souaibou.

In 2012, the accused persons NGUILIWOU Madeleine and ATEBA Jean Pierre were arrested flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service for illegal hunting of totally protected animal species and illegal detention and commercialization of the said species.

In the month of July 2013, the accused Godom Dieudionné approached Samuel Oulede, a military officer to give his war arm and ammunitions to the accused Mohamadou Mortala that he did. Once Mohamadou was in possession of the said arms, he gave them to Bintsoe Alfred to hunt elephants and deliver the ivories to Samuel Oulede.

On the 11 March 2017, the East regional delegation of Forestry and Wildlife were contacted by the service of Customs about the seizure of 177 elephant tusks. They accused persons were arrested while waiting for IBRAHIM AOUDOU a custom officer who had to give them safe passage.

In 2016, the accused persons, OLINGA BAKBOKE and TCHABO MBAKOP were arrested by elements of the conservation service with trophies of totally protected animal species (Gorillas and Chimpanzees). They were prosecuted before the Court of First Instance, Abong Mbang.

On the 4 December 2016, the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park and the gendarmerie of Moloundou organized an anti-poaching patrol. During the patrol, the accused, persons NGUOINGUE Marcel and OUME Jean were arrested, with a hunting gun and ammunitions, 04 smoked Blue duikers, 6 bush pig legs and 4 fully smoked Mantled Guerezas.

In February 2014, elements of the conservation service of the National Park of Lobeke received reliable information about the presence of some poachers in the said park. Following this, on the 19 February, the elements organized a surveillance and control patrol in the peripheral area of the park (ZIC 31).

On the 16 April 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Boumba Bek National Park arrested the accused in the hunting zone of Libongo, of the Boumba Bek National Park in possession of freshly butchered totally protected animal species. This includes Chimpanzees, Gorillas and a deer.

On the 23 December 2016, the accused, SALO, and MBALLA Abrahim were arrested elements of the forestry and wildlife control post, Libongo-Salpoumbe received reliable information about an illegal ongoing trafficking.
