In February 2010 at Kabo, Ekoulou Eddy Edgard met a friend of him named Papolo. This fried carried a piece of smoked elephant meat and said he had received this piece from two elephant hunters who told him where they have hidden their hunting materials.

On May 12, 2020 at 8 a.m., ISUMA BAFANGALA, along with Dieu Merci and ODI, left Ouesso for Bomo to capture parrots. The next day, they captured 5 parrots and used 3 other parrots as bait. They were surprised by the eco-guards, Isuma was arrested while the two others ran away.

In October 2014, Diallo planned a big game hunt and then approached Mia Yves to obtain a war weapon. Once the weapon was in his possession, he handed it over to Niaboth Rostand, who was arrested by the eco-guards.

In October 2000, Bandzani Landry Blaise working at Congolaise Industrielle des Bois,provided Itona Eric Brice with a type PMAK war weapon and asked him to kill an elephant and remove the ivory tusks for trade later on.

In July 2020, Izoko Christ Parole went to the camp in Bouanela for a game of fishing. Noting the scarcity of fish, he decided to buy the cartridges and gave to Molobeli alias Nguiama the 12-calibre weapon to get for him 2 or 3 pieces of meat. After killing a bush pig, Nguiama went back to the forest and did not return to the camp.

On 08 August 2020, Dobo Dominique went to hunt. After few kilometres he discovered an elephant that has been killed but still having his two ivory tusks. We went back to the village to take an axe with which he cut the two tusks into four pieces weighing 3 kg each for a total of around 13 kg.

On December 04, 2019, Dzoba Aurelien entered a forbidden zone of the Nouabale-Ndoki National Park to practice fishing. The next day, he was surprised by the eco-guards of the park, was arrested and taken to the police station.

In June 2014, the Itan Guy, Deguemel Anicet, Biloa Cyr, Zoniaba Armand, wildlife and biodiversity conservation officers of the same patrol unit, arrested a hunter ”used” by Dida Jean Fernand.

On September 24, 2014, Mongo Fidel, a hunter in possession of a calibre 12 weapon, went together with Bouoko Mokanda, Mabosso Rufin, Babole Amezin, and Lobianambi Justin to the forest for a small hunting expedition. During this expedition they killed one buffalo and one black antelope inside the Nouabale Ndoki national park.

In October 2014, following the discovery of the carcass of an elephant at Ignoli village in the area of Odzala Koukoua National Park, an investigation mission was carried out by the ecoguards during which Eboua Jean was caught red handed in possession of a weapon of war and ammunition that he buried at the place where the elephant had been shot.
