In June 2011, Dawe Ambroise, who lives in Makao, wanted to organise a hunting party and asked Momboukola Modeste for his services as a hunter and also as a porter. Together they went to the Lola area, where they saw an elephant coming out of the water when they arrived.
In May 2019, MOMBE Sinel was contacted by DIMETE Sosthene, who had a war weapon for an elephant hunt. MOMBE joined DIMETE to poach but failed to kill two elephants with his war weapon, which then ran away. Having killed nothing, both decided to return to NDOKI 2 after hiding the weapon in the forest.
A semi-nomad called EGBOGBO offered OLALA Willy two ivory tusks. OLALA WIlly informed ABDOULAYE MAHAMAT, who is a buyer of this type of trophy. ABDOULAYE MAHAMAT came to collect the tusks and was accompanied by HASSAN Ismael. After picking up the tusks, they cut them in half and thus had 4 pieces.
Okangossili Kondzi Wossi lived in Lango village in Mokeko district. Near his village, about 2km away, he set traps to catch small animals. On 22 June 2014, a gorilla was caught with one of his traps. When he went to check his traps, Okangossili Kondzi Wossi spotted the gorilla, which screamed to alert the others.
On 25 Febuary 2014, eco-guards were patrolling at Bamegod village, 33 km away from Souanke village, when they arrested Abama Samory, who was in possession of a type PMK war weapon.
During December 2005, Miki-Liyekou organized a big hunting expedition in which he associated Akandalo Etienne, Makponga Guillaume, Bamohina Alain. They used a SKS-branded war weapon to hunt elephants. It was in this context that they were caught by eco-guards who brought them to the police station.
On January 09, 2001, Niamazock Rodolphe and Meko Mathieu left Langoue village for a hunting expedition. After their arrival at the forest camp Niamazock Rodolphe shot on Meko who died.
On August 2011, the anti-poaching surveillance and control unit of Nouabele Ndoki National Park in its traditional mission apprehended Nguerio Jean Nestor with a locally manufactured weapon and 13 ammunitions.
