The two Accused had been convicted of unlawfully hunting game. The value of weapons and vehicle used in the commission of the offence exceeded the civil jurisdiction of a Subordinate Court, which accordingly referred the question of forfeiture of these articles to the High Court.

Elements of the conservation service of the Boumba-bek National Park arrested the accused BANDINONISANGO Georges flagrante delicto in the Forestry Management Unit N°10020 while carrying out hunting activities. He was found in possession of a hunting gun and ammunitions.
Elements of the conservation service of the Divisional Delegation of Boumba and Ngoko organized an anti-poaching patrol mission in the Lobeke National park, Moloundou sector. During this mission, the accused MBIENDE Giscard was arrested with protected animal species.
The accused NAMEIBIO Delaine was arrested by elements of the conservation service in Mbol 12, a protected zone. She was found in possession of Gorilla and Deer meat. Upon arrest, she could not legally back up her presence in the protected area and the possession of totally protected animal species.
On the night of 23rd March 2009, OYIE BAHNA Salomon was caught red-handed in DJENABO (a locality situated on the Djoum-Mintom road) by the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service agents. He was in possession of twelve (12) Gorillas parts, six (6) Mandrillus part and nine (9) Water Chevrotain parts.
