On 24th March, 2013 at about 11:00hrs the accused was arrested at Kidodi Village in Kilosa District Morogoro region having been found in possession of the government trophies to wit were five elephant tusks. The pieces of tusks were valued collectively Tshs. 48,000,000/=. The accused person was found guilty.

On 7th April 2012 the accused persons Ezekiel Elisha Chuma and two others were arrested with allegations of being involved in dealing with government trophies by buying and selling elephants tusks and also found in possession of the same trophies without license of permit. They were all found not guilty.

Accused was arrested at Mihanda Village in Mikumi Ward within Kilosa District on allegations of been in possession of the Government trophies contrary to the provisions of the law. He was charged at Kilosa District court. He was found in possession of the Government trophy to wit 10 pieces of the elephant meat valued at Tshs.

The accused was arrested at Ituka areas within Mikumi National Park in while he was in possession of various species specified as government trophies to wit were elephant tusks and hippopotamus teeth. He was also found in possession of fish and of various weapons believed to be used in poaching activities.

That the accused persons were found in possession of the Government trophies/properties contrary to various provisions of the law hence were charged as follows: (i) that first and second accused persons in this case were jointly charged with five counts, (ii) the third accused person was charged with one count which was not economic offence (iii

Suleiman Ally and Rehani Magani were on 03/09/2015 at Mkuta within the Mvomero District in Morogoro Region were found in possession of Government trophies to wit fifty lug of buffalo meat valued Tshs 2,945,000 the property of the Government of United Republic of Tanzania without permit or license.

The accused person was caught on 19/09/2014 at Old Simiti hill area within SENAPA. The accused was in possession of weapons in the park namely; one spear, one bush knife, one sword, five trapping wires, ten pieces of fresh meat of wildebeest and three tails of wildebeest. He was arrested and taken to Anti-Poaching Unit at Bunda.

On 05/10/2010 at 18:00 hours at Warangi area within SENAPA when park rangers were on patrol, they saw people running from the bush. They chased them and managed to arrest one of them. They took him back to the bush that he was running from.

On 02/12/2012, the three accused person were arrested a Meza area within SENAPA and found in possession of weapons and government trophies, namely; 1 knife, two pangas, and five trapping wires, one leg of Zebra and one dry skin of Zebra. Then were taken to Mugumu police station.

The accused were found within SENAPA around Mto Nyabehu area without permission and in possession of one piece of dry meat of wildebeest and one dry skin of wildebeest they were arrested and taken to Mugumu police station. The charges were withdrawn and the accused discharged.
