On the 3 October 2014, the accused poached elephants in Bango passing through the Ngoyla subdivision.
The accused persons, Aye Mondo & Melolodom Richard are Bakas, indigenous people. They were arrested by elements of the conservation service after killing an elephant, and were found in possession of the ivories. They were forwarded before the court of First Instance, Abong Mbang for Prosecution.
On the 3 April 2013, the elements of the conservation service organized an anti-poaching patrol in the zone of Massea, East Region. During this patrol, the accused persons Mbgalla, Mbiango, and Alime were found in possession of elephant meat they had just killed.
On the 6 March 2013, the accused Aladji Issa asked the co-offender Moahamadou to accompany him to a village called Namezap for 1000 XAF. Upon arrival, Aladji Issa asked Mohamadou to wait for him on the bike while he left to collect a bag. He returned and they both left the village.
In 2015, the accused NGONGHO Francis SENGHO was arrested flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service of the Divisional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife, Batouri. He was found in possession of trophies of totally protected animal species (Gorilla and Chimpanzees).
In 2012, the accused MOHAMADOU BELO was arrested flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service with smoked four yellow duiker legs, 4 bush pig legs, 13 smoked black duiker legs, 12 smoked Monkeys, 40 smoked Blue Duikers, 12 Brush-tailed porcupine, and 01 smoked African Palm Civet.
In September 2015, the Sub-divisional officer of Salapoumbe arrested the accused, Sammisio Julien at Carrefour SE, Salapoumbe located in the East Region following information received by the said officer about his activities with a renowned poacher called Souka to whom the accused had given some money to carry out poaching activities.
On the 6 April 2016, elements of the Nki National park carried out a sweep operation in the sectors of Ngoyla, and Eta-Frontière-Djadom-Ntam Carrefour. During this sweep operation, the accused Essogo Daniel and Sabel Yannick were found in possession of freshly killed 6 blue duikers, 2 Sitatungas, 1 Agile Mangabey, and 1 hunting gun.
In 2015, the accused persons, BOUSSE AKOUYA David, NAMOUDJOU Hughes, NGOMBE Freddy, ANKOAT Clovis & MIKOUAKOU Aubin Lebrun were arrested by elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park.
On the night of 2 October 2016, elements of the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Kika, Moloundou were on a wildlife control mission and arrested four accused persons with a bag containing elephant ivories. Three of them took to their heels but the accused Hamadou, burdened with the weight of the ivories could not run.
