The accused ABA Jean Didier, was arrested in March 2016 flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service in illegal possession of 04 Gorilla skulls, 08 Chimpanzee skulls, 02 Wart Hog skulls and 01 Mandrill skull. He was arrested in Mengong, Ebolowa in the South Region.

The accused ABANDA AGBOR was summoned to appear before the Court of First Instance Djoum to answer charges for the killing of protected animal species without a hunting permit in Mintom in a zone prohibited from hunting. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.

The accused, ABDOUR RAHMANOU was arrested by elements of the Regional delegation of Forestry and Wildlife. He was found flagrante delicto in possession of 75 African Grey Parrots without a certificate of origin. During interrogation and before the court, he pleaded guilty and recognized committing the offence as charged.

The accused persons ABENEME Francois and NKOBO Marcel were arrested flagrante delicto in the locality of BOLO by elements of the Yokadouma Wildlife Administration on an anti-poaching patrol mission around the outskirts of the Lobeke National Park.

The accused ABOLO EKOMANE Martin Festin was summoned to appear before the Court to respond to charges of poaching protected animal species on the 27 January 1993 in Djoum. That he was arrested by forces of law and order in possession of three (03) gorilla thighs, three (03) monkey thighs and a hare without a certificate of origin.

The accused KONGLO ETOA Daniel was arrested in the central town of Djoum driving a TOYOTA pick-up vehicle with matriculation No: CE 4176 E by agents of the conservation service in Djoum accompanied by elements of the national gendarmerie brigade of the locality. On board this vehicle was ABOLO NGONG Joseph Tristan.

The accused persons ADAMOU HANAWA and BOUBA OUMAROU were summoned to appear before the court of first instance Djoum to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species in a zone prohibited from hunting without a hunting permit and concealment the 01 December 1988 in Lele.

As per judgement in default no. 124/COR of 31 March 1992 of the Court of First Instance Djoum, the accused ADIBEGNI ASSALA Désirées was found guilty of poaching. He was sentenced to pay 25.000 XAF for fines and 15,000XAF for damages to the Ministry incharge of Tourism. He rightly contested the judgement which was admitted by the Court.

The accused persons AFOUMOU EMILE and MOUKO CLEMENT were arrested flagrante delicto in possession of 02 Processed elephant ivories, 01 Processed ivory piece, 03 carved ebony art objects, scraps of ivory from the processed elephant tusks and 02 broken art objects.
