In November 2018, Makokolo Benjamin was at his fishing camp in Dzondo when a canoe from Bondoki , which docked at his camp, brought a bag of smoked gorilla meat and he was offered to buy a portion of gorilla meat for 15,000.

In July 2015, the defendants illegally entered the NOUABELE – NDOKI National Park, where, they killed a long nose crocodile, a fully protected animal. They were then pursued by agents of the park, arrested and brought to the State prosecutor.

In 2002, OKOMBI Jean provided MATEBOU Norbert and MOKOTI Emile with one rifle and instructed them to practice elephant hunting. Mayebou and Mokoti returned back with elephant’s meat and ivory tusks which they gave to OKOMBI Jean.

In September 2012, Mazamba Raoul was contacted by Fernand to hunt elephants. On September 14, 2012 they left Ouesso to the forest each one having his role i.e. Fernand the hunter and Mazamba Raoul the carrier. They killed one elephant who had only one tusk. Fernand transported the tusk while Mazambe transported some pieces of the meat.

In April 2019, Ebisse Jean Claude was going to Ouesso together with Nguie-Ngola Habib who was in possession of a PMAK war weapon that came from Brazzaville.

EBAM Francis used to capture parrots together with two Cameroonians named Jean KOUA and DZANA Celestin. In March 2020, DZANA gave EBAM Francis the sum of XAF 80,000 and nets for the capture of parrots. And it was during the capture with 2 (two) bait parrots that EBAM Francis was arrested.

The accused persons MELAT Blaise, MFONGOCK Didier, NYAMPE Charles II and ATOKI Suzanne were prosecuted before the Court First Instance, Dschang for illegal detention, circulation and attempted commercialization of trophies of totally protected animal species. On the 08 June 2018 judgement was passed.

The accused persons WO LEMBO ABO Eric and MEFIRE ISSOFA were prosecuted before Court of First Instance, Yokadouma for complicity to killing and illegal detention of trophies of class A totally protected animal species. On the 08 February 2019, the court passed judgement. The accused WO LEMBO ABO Eric was found not guilty of complicity.

On January 28, 2014, Ngoma Mananga Goudrey a soldier in service at the Defense Military Zone No 05 was approached by Kindolo Sabin who solicited the purchase of ammunitions declaring that he is in possession of one war weapon a PMAK that he has left in a village with his friend.

The accused persons MEFIRE ISSOFA, WO-LEMBO ABO Eric and MBOA Michel were arrested flagrante delicto in Yokadouma by eco-guards of the MANDOUNGUE control post. MBOA Michel was caught transporting two (02) elephant tusks of length 135cm and 139cm and weight 9.80kg and 19.74kg using a vehicle of mark Toyota Carina belonging to MEFIRE ISSOFA.
