The Accused were arrested at River Oli in Arua city and were taken to Arua Police Station before they were transferred to Kampala CPS. The Accused were found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country.

The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Amuru.
