On December 23, 2003, MBANE Theodore went to the forest with a calibre 12 weapon to practice hunting. He came across an elephant that he shot dead using a specific cartridge for this type of target. He was caught in his camp by wildlife protection agents in possession of a the weapon and three ivory tusks.

In January 2015, while they were in the forest to go about their business, they found a rotting elephant on the way. After having removed the tusks, they took a vehicle to Pokola, on their way they were arrested at Ndoki II check point by ecoguards.

Ngouanda Brice told Malo-Malo Leonard that he could earn a lot of money if he agreed to kill elephants with Ngouanda Brice's war weapon, which the latter kept carefully. Malo-Malo then asked Ngouanda to give him the weapon, which he did and Malo-Malo used the weapon to kill an elephant.

Mahamat Zen Youssouf is a trader resident in Elogo village. In September 2012, at around 11 p.m., he received a gentleman at his home who came to offer him a deal in ivory tusks and Mahamat Zen Youssouf accepted this deal. After having bought the ivory he kept them in his house.

In October 2014, during an eco-guards patrol in Ignoli village, following the discovery of elephants carcasses, Maloumamlou Léonard was apprehended with a weapon of war.

In January 2008, Bossoka Emilie Bertille wanted to have ivory juwelery decided to associate herself to Angouele Brice Igor and Onguiembi-Oyoukath Karl Charden and together they fraudulently subtracted 195 (one hundred and ninety five) ivory tusks to the detriment of the Departmental Directorate of Waters and Forest of Sangha which owned it legit

On February, 24, 2018, the anti-poaching surveillance and control unit in its traditional mission apprehended Mbele Brisel and Mbongo Sossa Armel.

The accused wanted to make a living through big game hunting. To this end, DISSAKA Daring handed over a war weapon and two full loaders, with which he had killed an elephant in the past, to MIWAYE Nesty, who in turn used them to kill two elephants.

In February 2014, the Odzala-Kokoua national park anti-poaching service was informed that Lamine Djafil bought two ivory tusks from a former eco-guard named Dial Hugues, also known as Loufombo. Lamine Djafil also bought a war weapon type SKS from an eco-guard named Meyal.

Kangazokou Ulrich was arrested in possession of 51 kg of ivory tusks when he was travelling on the road between Mobongue and Moyoye coming from Liouesso. He obtained some of the tusks from a Cameroonian and a Congolese (DRC), and others in Ibonga from another Congolese (DRC).
